Cmd_Green Keri Smith

Just happened to google into Keri Smith's creative work, and discovered a little green propaganda in a lot of well known work. Here's some info about the "author/illustrator turned guerilla artist".

"About the Design

I have long been interested in projects that fall under what Umberto Eco refers to as an "open work". These are works that are in some way completed by the reader or user. The reader may supply their own interpretation or meaning. For a while now I have been working on a series of conceptual guerilla art "signs" of this nature, which hopefully have some kind of multiple meaning, serious but also being a bit playful.
I am an fierce environmentalist, all of my work is geared to tune people into the world, nature and the environment. My belief is that "you can't care about something you don't notice", so if I can trick people into noticing, they may in turn care a little bit more (that is my dream). The message of Global Green speaks to me as it's goal is to "reconnect humanity with the environment".
